ABOUT BRASSERIE SAISON

A restaurant and brewery with private event spaces located on Charlottesville’s historic downtown pedestrian mall.

A collaboration between Ten Course Hospitality and Champion Brewing Company, Brasserie Saison’s food comes from the traditional beer cultures in Europe. Our chefs de cuisine Chef Mike Perry and Chef Devin Murray focus on Benelux or more specifically, regional Belgian and Dutch food culture, sometimes expanding to German, Austrian, Polish, Alsatian, Czech, British, Canadian and even American. Come enjoy inspired and refined food with small batch Saison, Farmhouse and Bier du Garde style beers. As well as a compelling craft cocktail and wine list.

THE COAT ROOM

Enjoy an intimate evening of thoughtful service in our quiet downstairs hideaway. The Coat Room is a medium Brasserie Saison uses to express its best: a reserve Belgian beer list, captivating cocktails and spirits, and a beautifully curated wine list pair perfectly with  special dishes from the kitchen. The Coat Room is a playful encounter with fine dining and unlike anything you have experienced in Charlottesville. We’d love to welcome you down.

Offering two seatings, at 6pm and 8pm, on Friday and Saturday evenings. Available 7-Days a week for private events.

For seated dinners up to 40 people or standing parties as large as 75.

An elegant wood paneled room, ideal for dinner parties and corporate meetings up to 18.

SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR CHARITY

Joins us for “Eggs Benefit”. Our brunch that helps our chosen charity of the month. Every Sunday from 11 am – 3 pm.

Come and enjoy a variety of Brasserie Saison’s interpretations of brunch favorites along with live music. It delicious, delightful and all for a good cause. See you on Sunday.

LIVE MUSIC

Enjoy live music for brunch (Sundays 11 am – 3 pm,) Friday lunches on the patio (11 am – 2 pm,) and late night Fridays (9 pm – 11 pm or later!)

Duo Boheme

An elegant throwback to the 1920’s and 30’s, playing an array of Django Reinhardt – inspired French “gypsy” jazz tunes.

Xavier Taylor

An opera and jazz singer, you say? We’re happy to have staff member & musician Xavier Taylor playing his ukulele and crooning to the patio Fridays at lunch (Noon – 2 pm) alongside his trusty canine sidekick, Pavi!

Paulien

Paulien brings a blend of Edith Piaf and Jacques Brel standards melded seamlessly with more contemporary rhythms. A showcase of French/American songs from the past to the present.

Vincent Zorn

Vincent spices up our Friday nights with his Spanish and Flamenco guitar stylings. Pairs extremely well with any post-dinner digestif and it’s the perfect accompaniment to the start of the weekend! Every Friday in June from 9 pm – 11 pm!
